FargoWear Inc. started doing business as a non-OEM source for sand muller plows to the foundry industry in 1948. Since that time the name FargoWear Inc. has earned a reputation in the industry for high quality, cost effective and innovative solutions to wear parts problems in foundries all over the world.

FargoWear Inc. manufactures replacement parts for virtually all brands of sand mixers and mullers. Over the years we have led the way with innovations and pioneering uses of materials such as:

* Carbide tipping and ceramic facing of plows resulting in longer plow life and reductions of muller amperage draws of up to 30%.

* Ni-Hard muller bowls for higher production foundries. Ni-hard bowls are interchangeable with gray iron bowls and are completely machined and guaranteed to not only fit correctly, but to give a foundry up to four times the wear of gray iron bowls.

* Polyurethane for use in mullers. Polyurethane liners replace rubber liners and offer superior wear resistance and longer life. Sand won’t stick to the polyurethane reducing sand lumping and muller amperage draw. Polyurethane also can be used when muller tires or wheels are worn down and need replacing.

Technology and Innovation:

In addition to being a recognized leader in wear part innovations and technologies, FargoWear Inc. also supplies Continuous Mixer Paddles for virtually every brand of no-bake mixer. As with muller plows, FargoWear Inc. applies tungsten carbide to the tips of these paddles for increased life and improved mixing efficiency.

In an ongoing effort to bring our customers products that improve performance and are cost effective, FargoWear Inc. and VTT of Germany have teamed up to supply replacement parts for automatic molding machines. These parts are manufactured in both Germany and the U.S. and are warehoused in Detroit.
